Mayawati-Akbar the great Zille Ilahi
During my last trip to Lucknow I found that the present day’s rulers have fallen in love with Red Stone, the love Akbar the great had fallen. What ever is being done it has touch of royalty. Akabar did not install any statue (but) of his own or any one else, as Maya has done it. May be because, Islam does not permit creation of Statues. Akabr and Maya looked to have too many points in common.
Akbar made Agra as his dream city where as Maya favoured Lucknow.
Agra incidentally is in UP and Lucknow is also in UP.
Agra was the capital of then hindustan and Lucknow is capital of UP(the heart of hindustan).
Agra is on the banks of Yamuna and Lucknow is on the banks of Gomati.
Akbar created Agra Fort and other buildings in red stone so Maya is doing all her favourite projects in red stone.
Akabr brought workers form far off places to build so did Maya.
Akabr created monuments so that future generations would visit these places and remember him as great ruler so Maya is doing so that future generations will remember her as dalit leader.
Akabr was moderate and benevolent and Maya is also trying to project herself as leader of Sarv Samaj.
Akabr was well built and small and I am afraid to say Maya’s figure almost is like Akbar.
Akabr is in imagination but do away that Maya decided to install her own statue bedsides her mentor so that historians will not make any mistake.
I think with these thoughts what ever Maya is doing she looks to be right.
But she should not forget that Akbar proved to be great ruler and is remembered for his wide acceptable approach towards all, Maya has still to achieve this in this life time. Time for Maya is short and not as that Akbar had unhindered rule for a long time….
