Amitabh Bachan-Akshay Kumar’s war is on. It dates back to the time when Ahsan started a film and wrote the screenplay for it and successfully Mr. Bachan liked it and agreed to play a part in it. The film was named ‘Dasataan’ where Ajay Devgan and Kajol were to play the lead roles. The film was about to start its production after Bachan recovered from his illness. Ahsan explains that his relation with Mr. Bachan is with the time when he used to do polio ads and he was the director.
When Akshay Kumar came to know about the making of the film, he approached and successfully won over Bhushan Kumar, which in further bought the right from the producer Rama Rao for a hacking 3.5 crores. Now, who is going to say ‘NO’ to such a huge amount. All this event took place when Bachan was in hospital and both (Ahsan and Amitabh) were unaware of it. Ahsan was so much shocked by the news that he filed a case against Mr. Rama Rao for deceiving. And since then Mr. Bachan decided not to work with Akshay Kumar.
Earlier, Amitabh Bachan was suppose to play a role in Namastey London, but he refused it as Akshay was playing the lead role in the movie. Then, the role was played by Rishi Kapoor. Another thing that happened was when Rohan Sippy’s film ‘Made In China’ was refused by Mr. Bachan as Akshay Kumar was playing the principal role in it.
