7UP’s makeover, unlikely to up sales

7up1Cadbury Schweppes is going all natural with its 7UP by draining out the entire artificial flavor from the already banned soda. I wonder what will be left out then. This is an initiative of the company to cater to the demands of all natural beverages of the consumers. But then the ingredients that are namely natural are not necessarily healthy for the consumers, which include filtered carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, natural citric acid, natural flavors and natural potassium citrate.

Therefore, this re-branding of the old beverage might not just work just for the sake of being original as there are healthier fruit juices in the market to choose from as a substitute and consumers need to think before switching over to a drink, which was long before replaced by Coca-Cola’s Sprite.
