A nutritional daily lists out seven different ways in which parents can imbue a healthy eating culture in their children right from their toddling age. The seven rules listed out by Kim Pierce for parents are as follows:
1. Introduce new foods to your baby in his toddling age by dividing foods into distinct flavor groups of sweet and salty.
2. Encourage your baby to spit-out the newly introduced food if he doesn’t like it.
3. Change the presentation of the refused foods to cater to the taste of your child.
4. Say ‘no’ to junk foods.
5. Let your kids explore more about the nutritional profile of the foods they like and dislike.
6. Follow the same eating habits that you want your child to follow.
7. Give your child his own sweet space when he eats out.
