Shop rolling out fish flavored ice cream

sundae1Fruits, chocolates, coffee and even tea did not appeal to the Coromoto store, situated in the southern fishing port and canning centre of Portimao, located 300km south of Lisbon that it is going to enter into the Guinness Book of World Records weirdest number of flavors with shrimp, cod, tuna and grilled sardines. As per owner Manuel Oliveira:

Anything that you can eat or drink can be transformed into an ice cream.

But can somebody tell Manuel, people might not like the taste of sweetened and frozen fish.

Well, it is not for the first time that a fish flavor is being rolled out; Liny Hsueh’s ‘Dr. Ice’ shop in Taiwan had rolled out thirteen ice cream flavors in ice cream. I have mentioned about this ice cream in my previous post but I doubted about its availability elsewhere, but I should have thought that all crazy chefs flock in the same kitchen. Well, as per reports Europeans are coming up with extraordinary flavors to survive in the market. Hopefully the fish ice cream goes with the European tastes.
