Finelli Pizzeria boosts dessert sales…Tasty desserts or tempting displays

rtryWho does not go drooling over desserts, especially if it looks yummy enough for a monk to salivate. Finelli Pizzeria in Ellsworth, Maine features some mouth-watering specialty Italian desserts. This pizzeria owned by Paul Schneider was voted as the best pizzeria in the state of Maine, way back in April 2005. The secret is Tiramisu and Almond Cake from a NJ company called TasteIt Presents.

The pizzeria presents a wide range of Italian desserts like Canolli, which is a fried pastry stuffed with ricotta filling. Gelato is an imperial dessert, dating back to late 1500, the ingredients are quite similar to an English breakfast pudding. Spumoni is the richest dessert served in Paul’s pizzeria, as it is a double-layered ice cream sandwiched in between rum flavored ice cream and roasted nuts. Struffoli are honey-glazed fritters.

Another secret behind the hot sales of desserts in the pizzeria is that Paul gives more emphasis on presentation and apart from making the desserts look delicious, he places a whole dessert cell in the middle of the pizzeria for people to choose and grab their packet. They have the scope to go for add-ons, which is yet another way to let the consumer make his own choice. The pizzeria reaps maximum sales from its homemade chocolate canolli, apart from that it serves an exciting range of caramel, pecan, blueberry and vanilla flavors.

This pizzeria has the concept of making their consumers salivate for the classic Italian dessert by the way of displaying the desserts…this has resulted in the consumers grabbing away bagfuls of dessert.
