A recipe for Coca Cola cake!

Ever heard of a cake made with the usual ingredients but with a generous share of coca cola? No need to be apprehensive, just go ahead and try this unusual recipe:

3/4 cup margarine, melted

3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted

2 1/4 cups sugar

3 eggs

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

2 1/4 cups Coca-Cola

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Frosting:

1/3 cup margarine

1 1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate

1 1/2 cups sugar

3/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup evaporated milk

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Grease and flour a 13*9 inch pan.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Mix margarine, chocolate, sugar and eggs. Cream well.

Add in flour and baking soda together and then mix it to the butter mixture.

Add Coca-Cola and nuts. As you expect the batter will be very thin.

Pour the batter into the tin and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.

For frosting: Melt margarine and chocolate in a large saucepan over low heat. Add sugar and salt. Slowly pour milk, stirring continuously to keep the mixture smooth. Bring to a boil and cook for further two minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla.

Remove the cake from the oven and poke all over with a fork. Then pour the prepared frosting over. Cool and then take that delicious bite.
