Americans want to get into shape with ‘unshapely’ dieting practices

Survey conducted by University of Connecticut reports 70 percent of the Americans have tailored their diets as per their own whims and fancies without the consultation of a doctor. Facts provided by AC Nielsen, reports that the consumers have been feeding the weight loss industries with $322 million in 2005 since the past one year and these includes feeding on dietary supplements, over-the-counter appetite suppressants and diet-related meal replacements.

The eventuality of the matter is that Americans might not be able to able to cope-up with anything nutritious if this trend continues. In spite of the healthy food trends like eating on local ingredients, organic foods, whole grains, antioxidant-rich diet and many more American obesity is striving against quick and impractical dieting methods to appear in shape.

It is high time that American diners understand the importance of healthy foods in their lives and maybe take some tips from naturally slimming foods to balance it with flavor.
