Great news again for the Maharashtra Residents.

MHADA has announced to sell their 4000 flats in Mumbai and this time the allotment and other procedures will go online.

In the words of Board Chairman Amarjit Singh Manhas:

“This will be a record in the history of Mhada and the Mumbai board, this is the first time the authority is conducting an online lottery for the houses. Those who wish to opt for it have to log on www.lottery.mhada.maharashtra.gov.in and fill the form. They then have to take a printout of it, sign it and submit after affixing a photograph, to their nearest any Axis bank.”

It seems MHADA has become more advanced and using the technology very well. Axis Bank is one of it’s bank through which the payments will be done as initial entry. All 72 branches will take the same services which is really a good initiative.

People can log in on MHADA Website especially designed for the online applications and also for filling online forms and fulfill other criteria for the same.

This is going to be open from 27th of April 2011 till May 16th 2011.
As we know that MHADA is one of the largest resident plot providers in Maharashtra and also at the cheapest rate compare to the existing.

Other foresee will be the heavy rush for the application and lottery system. From past experience it is seen that lacks and lakh people apply for the same and plots are still in shortage.

I think other private builders must come along to provide at least this basic need of people at their best rates. Without their support and extended help crores of people won’t get a better deal at this age of inflation.
