Bacon and beans have an age-old relationship, but how about adding to this American junk, some Chinese tradition. Here is the recipe:
Ingredients
Boiled Pasta
Beaten egg-whites
Bacon Strips
Broad Beans
Rice Vinegar
Dried Basil
Julienned Ginger and Garlic
Salt
Black Pepper
Vegetable Stock
Cornflour
Green Chili Sauce
Oilve Oil
Monosodium Glutamate
Method
1. In a wok heat oil add monosodium glutamate, julienned ginger and garlic and broad beans.
2. Cook covered until broad beans are tender. Season it with salt, basil and pepper.
3. Add bacon strips, beaten eggs and fry for sometime.
4. Add rice vinegar and chili sauce.
5. Whisk cornflour to vegetable stock separately and add it to the wok.
6. After simmering the sauce for sometime, fold in pasta and serve hot.
