It is not always that their positive side that brings them in the limelight, sometimes some celebs get known for being in trouble. These are some celebs that you probably not know had a criminal background.

The girls who have a crush on him would never believe that he did something wrong. Well, this hunk had made more than a score of visits to the Boston Police Department by the time he was 13. Mark was known to have been involved in drugs in his youth.

He was accused of attempt to murder at the age of 16. He had assaulted two Vietnamese men on the same day by punching the face of one and hitting the other one with a wooden stick. Mark had to spend 45 days in jail for the act.

Nah, he wasn’t a pirate (hee hee). I would say he doesn’t qualify to be in this list, but we mention him because he just got saved from ending in a prison for 10 years. Johnny was accused of smuggling dogs to Australia. He got them there without declaring.

Prosecutors claimed that if celebs were allowed to break laws, everyone should be allowed to do it. The judge however gave them a deadline to send the canines back to US or serve 10 years I prison. Johnny chose the obvious and saved his ass.

People who know her are aware of her love for cooking and doing cooking shows. She actually did a couple from jail as well! She was involved in a complex and infamous legal trouble for insider trading. She was prisoned for cheating the investors in her Biotech company called ImClone. Martha had the insider information about the potential fall of the stocks before she sold the company.

The man from the famous show ‘Home Improvement’ was more than a ‘tool man’ before his acting career. He has admitted of drug peddling and given an account of how he coped with things later in his book. Tim served two years in jail for carrying 650 grams of cocaine. He had pleaded guilty and made a deal, otherwise it could have been a life time in prison. Tim received a year’s probation in ’97 when minor levels of alcohol were found in his blood.

These cases have clearly depicted that no one is above the law. If you break a law, you gotta face the consequences regardless of your status.
