Circus Cafe to host Seafood and Wine Festival

seafood fiestaEdinburgh’s top cafe Circus Cafe will be teeming with seafood lovers on 26th, January as they will be gathering to taste Scotland’s finest seafood. There will be a variety of seafood tasting from pan seared fillet of sea bream served with leek, mussel to cockle fricassee. These seafood delicacies rolled out in every course will be served with exotic French wines.

The menu for the seafood festival will be as follows:

Smoked Haddock Veloute & Lemongrass Foam

Slow Cooked Pork Belly, Caramelised Scallop, Blackpudding & Honey Cardamon Jus

Crab and Sweetcorn Risotto, Soft Boiled Quails Eggs & Basil Sabayon

Poached Langoustines, Salmon Tortellini & Veg Nage

Scotland’s exotic seafood delicacy would comprise the following:

Cod Fillet Viennoise, Sardalaise Potato & Plum Sauce

Pan Seared Fillet of Sea Bream, Leek, Mussel and Cockle Fricassee

Lime marscapone mousse with a crisp green apple sorbet

The seafood fest has also rolled out delicacies made out of pork’s belly, pork blood(black pudding) and quail eggs. The presence of these delicacies emphasize on the importance of Scotland’s National delicacies. These delicacies are undoubtedly the best of seafood creations, to be presented with the sophistication of French Wines. The cost of dinner per person is £32.50.
