Beastly murders have continued to rock the banana republic! Murder squad detectives were last night hunting crazed killers who raped and butchered a city businesswoman in Busega (a suburb of Kampala city).
The battered body of Christine, 20, an Owino Market businesswoman was found yesterday in unfinished house in Busega Zone B in a bloodbath.
Cops revealed that the body was lying facing down half naked; only dressed in a reddish top with semen littered between the thighs.
“That is a clear indication that her assailants raped her several times before murdering her,” a cop told us at the scene.
A terrified Christine’s husband only identified as Dan, a boda boda cyclist at Holiday Hotel stage told murder detectives that his lovely wife left home in the wee hours of August 8 for work, only to be told a few hours later that she had been murdered.
One cop said: “The scene was gruesome. The injuries were horrific and extensive. We still don’t know what type of a person committed this crime.”
At the scene, the cops found a torn black shirt and white underpants.
The late Christine is reported in the 999 summary to have been murdered between 2:00am and 5:00am in the morning of Sunday.
Police uncovered two pieces of bricks at the scene and adduced that there was a tense scuffle prior to the gruesome murder.
“Blood profusely oozed from the mouth and nose of the body and the neck was seriously swollen,” a cop said.
The cops then rushed the body to the city mortuary.
