Healthy cooking
Healthy cooking for healthier lifestyle, you might have to change the way you cook by cooking your food at simmer and slow heat; you are not only depleting your food from its nutrients but by doing so you are adding toxic contents to your food.

Try to cook your meals with minimum water content and never over cook your meals. Steam your vegetables and always stir fry your recipe ingredients this will preserve all essential nutrients of the recipe.
Cut your vegetables when needed never cut them before hand as the oxidation will remove the essential juices and nutrients from your vegetables.

Seasoning
Always use fresh herbs and spices to season your food recipes. Refined spices are not healthy though they may contain necessary components for you to just survive. Use fresh ingredients they add to flavor and taste of your recipe.

Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) is use by most of us to enhance flavor and add taste to your recipes. It is believed to cause headaches and muscle tightening leading to arthritis and osteoporosis.

Cooking utensils too play an important role in healthy cooking
Quality cookware and utensils made from natural material (earthenware, ceramic, glass and metals such as stainless steel, cast iron or enamel coated steel) are always preferred.
Avoid aluminum, plastic, Teflon and other synthetic materials. Nonstick cookware such as Teflon will emit toxic fumes when heated to a high temperature. Inhaling these toxic fumes can lead to respiratory disease, weakening of the immune system, cancer, depression, asthma and other health problems.
