Eat Right Freebee Cookie: First cookies to get the ‘Tick’

tick

Eat Right Freebee Cookie, by Eat Right Foods, manufacturer of healthier cookies in New Zealand, is the first cookie to get approval from the Heart Foundation’s Tick, to enter into the Sweet Biscuits category. To get the approval the cookies had to meet the criteria for saturated fat, Trans fat, sodium and energy (kilojoules). Each product was tested separately to check the levels of dietary fibers and harmful ingredients if any. The tests proved that the Eat Right Freebee Cookies are Gluten-Wheat free, dairy free, egg free, nut free, soy free, low-fat, free from refined sugar and made of certified organic ingredients. The packaging is also bio-compostable, with a transparent window to show the contents with the nutritional information on the top.

These cookies have raised themselves to meet the health standards of the cookie lovers in New Zealand and apart from exports to the US and Singapore, it should sell the cookies worldwide…now it is time to reap benefits from the advantageous position. The Kiwis already love it and as per G Adams, Christchurch:

I would like to congratulate you on your wonderful range of products. Your biscuits are utterly delicious and one is definitely not enough. I am delighted to be able to recommend them to all my friends. It is a joy to read the ingredients list and to not need a science degree to understand what I am about to eat. At last I have found a range of goods that can be described as healthy and yummy in the same sentence. I look forward to trying any new products but will always remain loyal to my first love – Chocolate- dipped Gingernuts.
