Foods that beat the heat this summer

summer foodsHey guys it is Summer time in India and those who are tracking my recipes on summer foods know the importance of carefully selecting foods in summer, especially those which rejuvenates your system. While you can try the recipes at your home in summer, you need to do a bit more effort to refresh yourself this summer. I must say Sailu knows it better as he is in one of the hottest regions in India, Andhra Pradesh and he gives us tips on the Do’s and Don’ts of Summer.

The tips are as follows:

1. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day.
2. Drinking lots of coconut water, lemonades and fruit juices
3. Eating fresh fruits and salads.
4. Avoiding aerated drinks and ice cream
5. Avoiding oily and spicy food.
6. Sticking to traditional, herbal drinks and sharbats.
