Frito Lay is launching new flavor of chips, mainly catering to the Asian Flavors. The new flavor is wasabi-and spice curry flavored potato chips. These chips will be hitting the grocery stores shelves in Toronto and Vancouver this month. The main aim of the Company is to cater to Canadian tastes and provide new flavors to the Asian community. Wasabi is a well-known concoction in Japan and is therefore known in the Asian community, and spices form the culinary base in the whole of Asia. Frito Lay has wonderfully blended it in the most common snack of America, potato chips.
Frito Lay will market the chips nation wide if the chips work well in Toronto and Vancouver, the company will also launch its shrimp chips in the month of April to bring in more complex flavor to the product targeted in both Asian and American communities.
