Green Chili pickle aka Mirchi ka achaar

green chili 1Summer is the time for gooseberries and pickles. Indian pickles have a taste and hint of unmatchable authenticity. I am going to share with you my favorite Green Chili Pickle, which unlike the content is not as hot as green chilies. The recipe of the pickle is as follows:

Ingredients

Mexican Green Chilies
Mustard Powder
Salt
White Vinegar
Oilve Oil
Black Cumin
Turmeric Powder

Method

1. Wash green chilies and wipe them dry. Remove their stem and chop them into pieces.

2. In a bowl mix green chilies with salt, mustard powder, turmeric powder and white vinegar.

3. Heat oil in a wok and add to it balck cumin. after the oil cools down pour it in the pickled mixture.

4. Bottle the pickle and set under the sun for a week or until the oil rises up the brim of the bottle.
