Green Mountain Coffee presents the rarest coffees in the world

coffee coladaGreen Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. is offering for the first time the rarest coffees ever grown in Rwanda. There is a limited edition of this rare variety of coffee products called as Special Reserve. Special Reserve Coffee are handcrafted and then subjected to deft micro-roasting in the small family farms and remote estates. The Special Reserve coffees are shipped within 24 hours of their roasting to ensure that their flavor and aroma stays intact and you get to drink from a freshly roasted cup of coffee. This is another reason for the production of these exotic coffee reserves in small batches and the Company will release a new Special Reserve coffee every two months.

The two Special Reserve editions scheduled to be sold in February and April are Rwanda-Karaba Bourbon and Ethiopian Sidamo. The coffee beans are picked and tested by the Director of Coffee Sourcing & Relationships, Lindsey Bolger, as she selected the flawless beans when the coffees were under production at the KOAKAKA Cooperative in Karaba, Rwanda. Rwanda-Karaba Bourbon is not only rich in body but also rich in flavors with berry, chocolate and brown sugar. Ethiopian Sidamo-Natural Process is a coffee with fruity flavors of raspberry, apricot, peach and blueberry. The coffee has an acidic hint and has smooth and melting body. While the order date for Rwanda-Karaba Bourbon has passed you can still wait for Ethiopian Sidamo in the month of April.
