Green Tea is a Passe, first white tea beverage is here

The year 2006 might have hardly experienced a single beverage that might not be integrally a health product. Snapple has launched its all new white tea keeping the health perspective in mind and it has already emerged as a winner in the beverage industry with it latest product. Snapple presents an antioxidant burst through its White Tea by selecting the baby tea leaves in their budding stage, brewing them and balancing hem with apple, nectarine and raspberry. This beverage does have sugar, but claims to have 33 percent less calories than found in normal beverages. As per Holly Mensch, Vice President, Snapple:

The white tea category is poised to be an important sector for Snapple, and the tea category, as more and more consumers seek beverages with health benefits. As the market leader in the premium tea and juice drink category, we saw a unique opportunity to grow the tea category by educating and exciting consumers about our new Snapple White Teas.

Tea has its own benefits and there are varieties of teas which have stood firm on their promises, but then we have the white tea trend to rock with. These beverages are available in 17.5 oz bottles at $1.39.
