History is replete with people who became famous for all the wrong reasons. They manipulated, killed and used power to cause horrors that is unimaginable and makes one believe in the devil. Here’s a list of some remarkable men/ women that we hope to hell are never born again!
- Vlad Dracula

Prince Vlad of Wallachia is famously known by his last name for presenting the most evil facet of human cruelty. Impalement was his favourite torture and killing method and he was known to eat his meals among his victims, watching them suffer and die.
She is the most sadistic socialite from New Orleans and her home is popularly known as the Chamber of Horrors. The lady kept slaves locked in the attic and she performed the most gruesome experiments on them. She sewed their mouths, conducted sex change operations and sliced their body parts to give them bizarre appearances. She escaped justice and was never caught.
- Ivan The Terrible
He was the cruellest Tsar of Russia whose reign of terror lasted for 55 years. In this period he conducted massacres, mass murders, inhuman tortures and innumerable executions for his pleasure. His own son and wife were not spared from his mania for murder and he died of dubious causes.
- Josef Fritzl

He is the devil reincarnate of this era who kept his own daughter imprisoned as a sex slave and fathered 9 children from her. Previously, he had kept his mother imprisoned for 20 years and she died in captivity. Sadly, through a legal loophole there are strong chances he may be released from jail soon.
- Idi Amin
Probably the most terrible dictator of this era, he had open cannibalistic tendencies and not only ate the flesh of his victims, but made them eat their own flesh too. He killed and massacred thousands of people in his country and kept Uganda in abject poverty and subjugation. Ironically, he lived a peaceful life for until his death for 25 years while in exile in South Africa.
- Jiang Qing
She and her more notable husband Mao Tse-Tung brought communism to China and were greatest dictators of the country. The effects of their subjugation still resounds in the country, but during her time in power, she had many antiques and cultural souvenirs of the country destroyed. She had intellectuals sent to prison and silenced dissent through execution. Over 3 million people died in this time.
Many mass murderers, sadists and evil leaders continue to live in this world and terrorise people, however, we only hope that those who are gone never come back with their cruel intentions.
