ICRTC serves multi-cuisine in food plaza

Railway Catering in India is quite famous and is the ‘Annadata’ (Rice-Provider) of not only the everyday office-goers and passengers but also a source of wonderful food for various occasions. ICRTC or Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) ahs seen to it that it does not serve food just for the sake of serving but also for being the best food chains in the country and recently it has opened a Food Plaza, its third multi-cuisine restaurant in Trivandrum, Kerela. The Food food plazaPlaza has three floors and a seating capacity of 72 people in each floor, serving both vegetarian and non vegetarian food and it is divided into noodles, pastries, sweets, fresh fruit juices and cakes. Food Plaza, Vinayan, regional manger of IRCTC says:

Food Plaza at Trivandrum Central has been planned with all aspects that the Malayalee food buffs as well as the rail passengers from other parts of the country look for in a food outlet. Aspects like good service, hygiene and prompt service are the main features here.

From the profit point of view I feel that serving local dishes and known food will bring in more revenue. As per Vinayan:

The IRCTC had planned the setting up of Food Plaza in such a way that the best of brands, good service and professionals in the business were roped in.
