As I mentioned above, Arsenal was founded in 1886 with a different name, Dial Square. The originators of the club were the workers of the Royal Arsenal and that’s why the name changed to Royal Arsenal soon. It was in 1893 when they joined the British Football League in the second division. They promoted to the first division in 1904. Arsenal plays their matches at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal: Crest and Colors

Also known as “The Gunners”, Arsenal, changed its crest to the current one in 2002. This was a more modern and simpler design with a cannon facing east. The replacement of the older crest caused some discussions among the fans but in my opinion this is a much better crest.

At first look, you can see the following colors on the Arsenal crest: Red, Blue and White. And if you have watched any of their matches, I am sure you will remember them wearing a red shirt with white sleeves. Although there were some exceptions, they generally wear red shirts and white shorts with white socks.
