John Mayer admits to being a white supremacist. Well, part of him anyway. In an expletive and unbound interview given to male adult magazine Playboy while drinking malt whiskey, the artist stated that he is somewhat of a white supremacist when it comes to sex.
The womanizing Mayer stated that he is opposed to sleeping with black woman, and his penis is “sort of like a white supremacist”. Mayer also used the word ‘nigger’ in the interview and for that he has issued an apology:
“I am sorry that I used the (‘N’) word. And it’s such a shame that I did because the point I was trying to make was in the exact opposite spirit of the word itself.
It was arrogant of me to think I could intellectualize using it because I realize that there’s no intellectualizing a word that is so emotionally charged.”
He added that he would never employ the word again and that he does not have the drive to be “a shock jock.”
Mayer also spoke about his relationship with fellow artist Jessica Simpson:
“That girl was like crack cocaine to me…Sexually, it was crazy. That’s all I’ll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm.”
He also spoke about his dream to “write pornography.”
In his interview, Mayer stated that he was trying to improve his image and dispel the idea that he is a womanizer and douche bag:
“I’ve been trying to prove to people I’m not a douche bag by not dating, by keeping my name out of ‘Us Weekly’.”
Clearly, it is working.
