Making sweet and spicy pairing of beer can chicken

We bring you two recipes to make juicy sweet and spicy beer can chicken. Both are simple recipes, and easy to prepare.

The ingredients that you require are, chicken 4 to 5 lbs, chili powder 2 tbsp, grounded coriander 1 tbsp, sugar 1 tbsp, kosher salt 1 tbsp, sweet paprika 4 tbsp, grounded cumin 2 tbsp, brown sugar 1 tbsp, red pepper flakes 1 tbsp, black pepper 1 tbsp and a can of beer.

Empty the half can of beer; preheat the oven at 425° F. Take a large bowl and mix all the spices in it. Remove the giblets, neck from the chicken, and wash it thoroughly. After drying it, apply all combined spices, in and out the chicken. Take a roasting pan and keep the beer can on it, hold the chicken from the legs and put it over the beer can. Place the roasting pan in the oven after 45 minutes take out the chicken and tent it with foil. Take out the chicken after a total time of 1 hr and 14 minutes, remove the can and serve.

Cooked Beer Can Chicken

Collect these ingredients for the recipe, brown sugar 1 tbsp, sea salt 1 tsp, cumin seeds 1 tsp, fennel seeds 1 tbsp, paprika 1 tbsp, a bunch of spring onions, barbeque sauce 2 tbsp. Fresh red chili 1, ½ bunch of coriander, a can of beer, cayenne pepper 1 tsp, coriander seeds 1 tbsp, black pepper 1 tbsp, dried red chilies 2, about 4lbs of chicken and olive oil.

Take a large bowl and combine paprika, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, red chilies, sea salt and black pepper, thoroughly for the rub. Preheat the oven at 400° F, prepare the chicken by cleaning it and removing the giblets. Pour olive oil on the chicken and then rub the spices well on it.

Open the beer can and empty out 65% of it. Keep the can on a roasting tray and insert the seasoned chicken on the can. Place it in the oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes; remove it from the oven when it is golden brown. Apply barbeque sauce over the chicken and again keep in it the oven for 10 minutes. Chop spring onions, coriander leaves, chili, and sprinkle over the chicken, serve hot.
