McDonalds changing its Fast foods image…

stickleer chickenMcDonalds is trying hard to gel well with consumer’s health interests. Subsequent to the restoration of its good old salad days in the menu, it has come up with My Dinner Menu that is a composition of four authentic Thai, Indian and Italian dishes.

The menu comprising of lemongrass chicken with penne pasta, rendang beef and penne pasta, beef bolognese penne pasta, and orange, lime and ginger chicken is expected to go for consumer trials in 19 of the region’s McDonald’s restaurants from July until October this year.

With a national rollout scheduled to be next year, this menu is sure to rock consumers who have gone into the casual-eating habit because of their lifestyles. Though authentic dishes are served in restaurants, fast food chains can make a more convincing statement for rolling out something new, quick, affordable and tailored to meet consumer’s nutrition and flavors.

What seems from the attempts made by the fast food chain is that it might be in a rush to rip off the fast food image replacing it with healthy dining a couple of years from now.
