Though McDonalds has pulled its Spicy chicken Sandwich off the shelves, yet it is quite happy with its new Happy Meal for adults in the UK. The reported Go Active happy meal has cleared out burgers, French fries and pan curries from the meal box to replace it with new Grilled Chicken Caesar salad, a cold drink and Stepometer.
To put across the point straight, McDonalds has restored high earnings from its salad days, the way it had enjoyed from the Salad Plus Range way back in 2004. This does not take a genius to understand that the food chain is catering to the customers at a point of time when the latter is standing on a strong footing for nutritious food.
The ‘slammers’ can take a proof from the reported rise in demand of Stepometers pointing to the fact that McDonalds’ new Grilled Chicken Caesar salad is qualitatively better than Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
