Movies that bangs the industry with 100 Crores in less than two weeks

After Dhoom 3, Ek Tha Tiger, and Chennai Express, Kick also banged the industry with 100 crores and now a member of the 100 crore club. It is not at all surprising because Bollywood films mean huge money. Previous year, movies like Chennai Express, Dhoom 3 earned more than ₹300 crore, and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Krish 3 made almost same.


When we talk about “Kick” then we can say that the movie has kicked off the second half of the year in less than two weeks. The movie is expected to enter the 300 crore club soon and will create another history by making Salman the only Industry star to have seven of his movies earn almost ₹300 crores in a row.

According to sources, the movie already has earned 80 crores in its first week. Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez have made the movie quite entertaining and Randeep Hooda was looking very handsome in the role of an honest police officer.

On its release, the movie come with an earning of ₹ 26.4 crore on its first day, ₹ 27.15 crore on its second day, ₹ 30.18 crore on its third day, and ₹ 14.41 crore on its fourth day.

The trend of ₹100 crore was started with the movie “3 Idiots” and this was the first movie to earn more than ₹ 100 crores in just 9 days. After that, movies like Bol Bachan, Singham, Grand Masti, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Race 2, Ghajini, Barfi, Housefull 2, and Golmaal 3 also earned the same club.

Still the movie managed to cross ₹100 crores in less than 10 days and it became the movie, which manages to earn faster than movies like Agneepath, Rowdy Rathore, Ram Leela, and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
