A sincere congratulation to the Swiss food giant Nestle as it won the Best Food Company Award in the European continent. The award was given by Global Finance’s eighth annual survey of the World’ Best Company. This award was given based on revenue and profit growth, market capitalization and share price, corporate responsibility, product innovation, global expansion and accountability.
Giorgio Mondavì, managing director of Nestle Malta, said,
This recognition is a vote of confidence in Nestle’s overall strategy, its commitment to quality and in its products.
After the recall of 30 million liters of baby milk, manufactured by Nestle, due to the presence of ink contamination, Giorgio Mondavi and company might have put real efforts to give the above statement at the end of the year. The rate at which it improved it quality to go get back its reputation in the food industry, was real fast, and I suppose that was the only reason it got the Best Company Award.
