Omega3 powder clicks for its high solubility in food products

Europharma, a natural products industry, is reported to have launched a food ingredient, Vectomega, which, it claims is a dry and natural source of Omega3. President of Europharma Terry Lemerond says:

You can’t add fish oil to a bar. But this (powder) can be added to anything – a bar, a yoghurt, salad dressing or ketchup.

Facts provide that this ingredient was developed not only to expand the functionality and applicability of Omega3 in more food products but also to keep the ingredient as fresh as possible in the final product. Lemerond further adds:

Much of the goodness is lost in fish oils currently on the market because they are very refined, distilled and deodorized by means of extraction processes that use high temperatures, solvents and chemical modifications. Vectomega is the only one that is extracted from the fish in a natural process.

The report claims of a patented technology, which uses cold water and enzyme to maintain the marine phospholipids in the ingredient and allows more absorption of DHA and EPA in the cells. Comparing Vectomega to the latest Xalar fish oil, the former is more functional for its solubility in an array of food products in its freshest form.
