Prawn Biryani

prawn biruyaniMy friend Fred is a great fan of prawns and I here something for him today. I am sure the readers are going to love it too. This is an instant Prawn Biryani and I am sure Fred is going to make it at home. The recipe of Prawn biryani is as follows:

Ingredients

Shelled and Veined Tiger Prawns
Yogurt
Coriander Leaves Paste
Mint Paste
Lime Juice
Ginger-garlic paste
Long Basmati Rice
Sliced Onions
Green chili Paste
Cardamom Powder
Cinnamon Powder
Nutmeg Powder
Cloves Powder
Cumin Powder
Oil

Method

1. Marinade prawns with yogurt, lime juice, green chili paste, coriander leaves paste, mint leaves paste, all the spices and salt.

2. Fry onions in oil until crispy. Keep it aside.

3. In that same oil fry some more onions and add the marinated prawns.
Cook until the fat leaves the sides.

4. Pre-cook basmati rice.

5. Line a separate vessel with oil and layer it with rice, chopped herbs and cooked prawns. Finally top it with a last layer of rice, close the lid and seal its edges with dough.

6. Pre-heat oven to 180 degree fahrenheit and set the vessel inside with lid.

7. Let the prawns and rice get cooked for some time and then mix it up, before serving.
