Prawn-stuffed Eggs

egg stuffFocus during Weekend cooking has to be something new with meats and poultry.

I too have the same plans but this time it is with eggs and prawns. Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients

Hard-boiled Eggs
Shelled Prawns
Crushed Garlic
Crushed Green Chilies
Sliced Onions
Chopped zucchini
Crushed Coriander Leaves
Cumin Powder
Cinnamon Powder
Salt
Oil

Method

1. Scoop out the yolks out of halved slices of boiled eggs.

2. In a separate wok fry onions and crushed coriander leaves until crisp. Add crushed garlic, zucchini and green chili. Fry for some more time.

3. Add prawns and mashed egg-yolk, along with all the spices and salt.

4. Fry until the prawns are browned and tender.

5. Fill this mixture into the boiled egg white-shells. Bake the stuffed eggs until brown.

Serve it as an appetizer with a hot sauce.

* Note: You can also substitute vegetables in place of prawns.
