World famous producer of food ingredients Danisco has also joined the product portfolio of food ingredient producers, in rolling out food products that balance between flavor and nutrition, for the beverage makers in Asia.
In an attempt to do so Danisco is reported to have resorted to a special processing technology that would separate essential oils from citrus fruits, thereby creating completely water soluble flavors for sports drinks. They also claim to give energy-boost to the consumers by the natural sugar and fructose blend in the formulations.
The Asian athletes can not only enjoy the tango of orange, grapes and other citrus fruits in their maximum concentration, but also experience the stress-busting tendency of the hidden antioxidants. With this beverage on the line not only the demand of a premium beverage is met, but it is met with what the firm says ‘at no extra price’.
