Stamina’s Sake: World’s Strongest Fighter Glorifies Korean dog-meat

dog meatFedor Emelianenko, current heavyweight champion at Pride FC, with K-1 one of the two major mixed martial arts sports is a big fan of the Korean dog meat. He happened to clean a full bowl of Kimchi (spicy fermented cabbage), pulgogi (grilled beef), toenjangkuk (soy bean paste soup) and other Korean delicacies in a five day visit to South Korea for the promotion of a Russian martial art, named as Sambo.

Emelianenko wanted to try dog-meat after hearing that it boosts your capacity of resistance. Traditionally dog meat boosts the sexual stamina of adults and it also fends off summer heat and regains vitality. Though the dish was given to the 20 year old fighter at the Olympic Gymnasium in southern Seoul, it is legally banned in Korea. However, it was Emelianenko’s desire to taste traditional dog meat and soup and the federation was delighted to receive another visit from the world’s best fighter, to taste this very different dog-meat. Moreover, the fighter will not disagree to a meat, which is good for stamina’s sake.
