Top Reasons to Love Suarez

His actions on the field were irrelevant and even as a Liverpool Fan, I think he must grow-up. He is my favourite player. And yes, there are reasons why you should love him.

Luis Suarez is Joint-European Golden boot winner

He got Game in him

He is yet to receive a red card in a match. He has unbelievable skill, vision and pace with the ball. On his day, he can nutmeg and terrorise any defence. He won 7 awards this season (includes 3 Liverpool FC awards). He is the Joint-European Golden boot winner with 31 goals in league competitions with Ronaldo. He cried his heart out when Liverpool drew at Crystal Palace to give Manchester City the title. His control with the ball is exceptional and is also regarded as one of the best with likes of Ronaldo and Messi.

He is a Winner and not a biter

He was the player of the tournament in Copa America 2011 with 4 goals and helping Uruguay with the Copa America. Suarez was Uruguay’s top goal scorer in the Fifa World Cup qualification campaign with 11 goals and also, was the top scorer for his continent. Suarez won Barclays Player of the season and also won PFA Player’s player of the year and FWA & FSF footballer of the year.

 Luis Suarez

He is the Hand of God

He saved a goal for Uruguay with his hands against Ghana “(Hand of God)” in the 2010 Fifa World Cup Quarter finals and was red-carded for committing a professional foul. Uruguay went on to win the tie on penalties as Ghana’s Gyan missed the penalty which he had received from Suarez.

He has his own League

Though, been banned for first six matches, Luis Suarez was Premiere League’s top goal scorer with 31 Goals in 33 matches for Liverpool and instrumental in Liverpool’s title race. He has the attitude of giving his best on the field and to win every game for the club and country, due to which he lends himself in trouble with incidents that have occurred with him recently.

Yes, he does have that attitude problem and does uncanny things on the field but he is still one of the best on the planet and just needs to focus a bit on not getting involved in any offensive activity that may affect him and his club or country.

Summary – No one loves a man who bites, or racially abuses his opponent on the field or shows unhealthy gestures to the crowd. Yes, I am talking about the joint-European Golden Boot winner, Luis Suarez.
