World’s First Chocolate Painting Competition to be held in Dubai

cpDubai’s Hyatt Regency is hosting the first-ever chocolate competition in the world. This chocolate painting competition will be conducted at The Hyatt Regency, Dubai on the 13th of April, from 2pm to 5.30pm. The mode of painting will be only chocolates spread out in different colors. The participants in this chocolate painting competition will be children aged 11 and above, who will be judged on the basis of their creativity and there will be no age bias. The competition will be judged by Chris Fisher, representatives of retail stores and the winner will get a grand prize of one night stay in the hotel’s Royal Suite, vouchers to dine at the hotel’s restaurants and lots more. There will be another innovative egg-painting competition with chocolate for children aged 4-11.

As far as the inspiration behind the chocolate competition is concerned, Alan Massouh, Hotel Manager says:

Chocolate is just one of the areas where our chefs excel at, so it was no surprise when we came up with this wonderful event.

Well, the fun does not end there; the chocolate-art will be displayed in a weeklong exhibition from 13th to the 23rd of April. Well I don’t think you can afford to peel out the chocolate from the paper, so it stops being edible there but it continues to display the wide chocolate creation of Hyatt painted down to represent art.
