This Sunday at 58th annual Primetime Emmy Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, action series ‘24‘ claimed the award for Best Drama Series and ‘The Office‘ was honored with the award of Best Comedy Series. After eight career attempts, actor Kiefer Sutherland finally took hold of the Best Actor Award. Sutherland described his experience with ’24’ as remarkable and said ‘Every once in a while you’ll have an evening that just reminds you that you’re given too much and this is that evening.’
Tony Shalhoub got the award for Best actor in a comedy series. Mariska Hargitay took away the award of Best Actress for her drama series ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’, and the award for Best Actress in comedy series went to Julia Louis-Dreyfus for ‘The New Adventures of Old Christine’.
Blythe Danner and Megan Mullally grabbed the award for Best Supporting actor for ‘Huff’ and ‘Will & Grace’ respectively.
