The unlikely couple partied the night away at French nightclub VIP Room and left together at 4a.m. in the same car.
Next day, they wandered hand-in-hand along the Club 55 harbor in glitzy St. Tropez with friend and former model Helena Christensen.
One onlooker said,
Bono and Penelope looked very intimate indeed. They were very touchy-feely. When they piled into the car together, Penelope gazed at him adoringly.
