Britney has cut down on the price of her Malibu mansion, which she seeks to sell out.
The 1.5-acre estate, which boasts a pool, spa, tennis court and gym along with the highly spacious 9000-sq ft home, was purchased for £3.5million by the popstar in 2004 shortly after her marriage to Kevin Federline.
Britney, 25, put the mansion for sale in January for £7million, but according to estate agent sources, she has now come down to £6million.
As estate agent Kurt Rappaport said:
The pricing was aggressive. It’s an expensive property and sophisticated buyers look for the best price.
Rappaport further adds that Britney’s celebrity image could also harm the sale of the property, as wealthy buyers avoid purchasing properties owned by high profile peoples.
Britney surely wants to get rid of this property and no wonder if the asking rate further drops, as the rehabilitated popstar is in no mood to keep the memories of Kevin Federline alive in her mind.
