When it comes for Crab curry my mouth starts drooling just reading the recipe, try this guidelines out and I am sure you will love the scrumptious taste of it.
Ingredients:
Crabs – 6, medium size
Grated coconut – 2 cup
Red chilies – 8-10
Onion – 1/3 cup, chopped
Garlic – 2 flakes
Black pepper corns – ¼ tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Coriander seeds – 2 tsp
Tamarind – 2 cm round lump
Oil – 2 tbsp
Curry leaves – few
Salt – to taste
Method:
1. Remove the hard shell from crabs. Cut each crab into 2 pieces , wash well and drain.
2. Grind all the ingredients from coconut to tamarind to a smooth paste with some water.
3. Heat oil, add curry leaves. Add the ground paste and fry till the raw small is lost.
4. Add about 3 cups of water and salt. Add crabs and cook till done.
Serve with hot steamed rice and enjoy it with your friends and family.
