Sunday’s lunch is still on my mind. It was a casserole of lots of cottage cheese cooked in the most delectable way. The recipe is as follows:
Ingredients
Cottage cheese(Cubed)
Yellow Lentils (Soaked in water)
Chopped Onions
Fresh Cilantro paste
Crushed Garlic
Green chili paste
Cumin Powder
Cinnamon Powder
Salt
Oil
Method
1. Pressure cook two cups of yellow lentils in three cups of water until tender.
2. In a wok heat oil and fry onions and garlic until transluscent.
3. Add to it cilantro, green chili paste, cumin powder, cinnamon powder, salt and cook for some more time.
4. Toss in cubed cheese and cooked lentils. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
5. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring continuously.
6. Serve with pita bread or rice.
