Kheer: The King of Asian Desserts

Kheer is the king of all desserts made in the Asian continent and it is the richer version of rice pudding. Kheer is served in special occasions in India and it is served both chilled and hot depending upon the region where it is served. The cooking style is also different in some places; However, I would give you the standard recipe of Kheer below:

Ingredients:

1 liter milk
200g Rice (short-grained)
1 tin Condensed Milk
Cashew Nuts
Raisins
Vanilla Essence

Method:

1. Pressure Cook the rice and transfer it to boiling pot milk.
2. Combine the rice and milk together.
3. Cook it until the whole mixture becomes very thick.
4. Add Condensed milk and dissolve it properly.
5. Cook for 10 more minutes stirring continuously

6. Add fried cashew nuts, raisins, vanilla essence.
7. Serve chilled or hot.
