After grabbing loads of compliments and appreciation Keira Knightley has donated her Oscar gown to Oxfam. This gown will be auctioned via eBay and the money raised will be given away to the ones suffering from drought in East Africa.
Keira who is scared of marriage was photographed in a deep claret-colored, one shoulder dress on the red carpet. She is really delighted after this act of charity.
At Oscars she was nominated under Best Actress category for her movie Pride and Prejudice, though she didn’t get the award that night but she will surely get lots of blessings this way.
I will call it a smart move as she knows she will be criticized badly if she would be seen in the same dress again so it’s better to donate it and get some accolades.
