Walt Disney World Resort has come up with an exciting Everest Cake to welcome the new addition to Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom called as the Expedition Everest. To symbolize the game the Chefs at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge created a chocolate mountain and crowned it with a summit of white and light meringue to depict snow-capped Mount Everest. Expedition Everest is all about boarding a high-speed runaway train and encountering a mystical yeti. Though this game covers a single adventure that one might face in an expedition, it gave the chefs innumerable ideas to come up with desserts that speak dozens about the thrilling Everest expedition.

Walt Disney Resorts throughout the globe created desserts to celebrate the addition. Boma-Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge made “Snow-Capped Everest Cakes” soaked in Amarula, an African liqueur with white chocolate toppings to depict snow, Jiko-the Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge did it with a caramelized banana split loaded with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, malted whipped cream peaks and chocolate wisps, Shutters at Old Port Royale at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort made cake out of Oreo and topped it with coconut and white chocolate, cakes topped with honey-scented cream, peaches, nectarines and crunchy candy crumbles and Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa brown sugar tart in chocolate and raspberry sauce topped with Vanilla Ice-Cream.

Walt Disney is providing the children and visitors with a virtual experience of Mount Everest, which marks the beginning of “Expedition Everest” on April. Walt Disney has come up with a great way to share the thrilling experience with thrilling foods.
