Oscar winning actress, Holly Hunter will now embrace the small screen with U.S. network TNT’s new drama Grace.
The ace actress will be playing a jaded Oklahoma City detective who is offered an opportunity to change her life when she is visited by a hot-tempered angel.
Also, James Woods, a two-time Oscar nominee for Salvador and Ghosts of Mississippi, will star in CBS’s procedural drama Shark, which will also air on Global.
Woods always denied doing television series as he hated playing the same character repeatedly. He says, “I chose this job because it’s the best thing I’ve read in 10 years. [Television] is where the action is. This is better than the movies.”
He will play Sebastian Shark, an arrogant defense attorney who switches teams to bat for the prosecution.
