Its is reported that Amy Winehouse is ready to go to the Grammy awards function. On monday, she left her rehabilitation center for a couple of hours to make a visit at US Embassy for her visa renewal. Amy, 24, was escorted by a nurse because the singer should always be under medical supervision as her health needs special attention. Amy???s dad, Mitch, was also with her during that time. After 24th January this was her first public appearance and she was looking somewhat healthy!
Amy Winehouse???s media representative stated that
The appointment at the U.S. Embassy was made some time ago and was part of the process for obtaining a visa. No decision has been made about the Grammy???s.
If she gets the US visa than possibly Winehouse would be able to attend the award function in LA on 10th February, actually, the main motive behind this eagerness to visit the Grammys is that she is nominated in six different award categories.
However, a close associate mentioned in a conversation with Us Magazine that:
Amy, is desperate to go and has been told she can go on the condition that she has a minder there and returns to rehab when back in the U.K.
She was admitted in to the rehab clinic in London on 24th January, as soon as The Sun released a video footage of her using a crack pipe.
The ???Back to black??? singer has now realised that — she needs special medication to overcome her drug obsession. Well, it???s good that at least now she is conscious about her health. All the best and get well soon!
