He has done it in the past, but he wants to do it again. Robin Williams is all geared up to take the challenge of playing a woman’s character for a second time. Only this time his character won’t be fooling anyone ala Mrs. Doubtfire. He has been approached to play Susan Boyle in a movie about her life.
The 58-year-old comedian is excited about the role and is all praises for Susan Boyle who became a household name after singing ???I Dreamed A Dream??? on the Britain???s Got Talent earlier this year.
I???ve been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie. I think she???s incredible. That clip of her sing on Britain???s Got Talent was extraordinary. So inspiring. It was quite a shock when she began to sing. I saw some other clip of her singing Cry Me A River a few years ago. It was incredible. She???s got a really great voice.
And you are a gifted actor, Mrs. Doubtfire! Oops, I mean, Mr. Robin Williams. I hope this project converts into reality soon enough, because now I just can’t wait to see Robin all dressed up as Susan Boyle.
