Joe Jackson: MJ is worth more dead than alive

As if the world wasn’t aware of this fact already, Joe Jackson has come up with an official statement to make us aware that Jacko is spinning money even after his death. As soon as Forbes magazine revealed that the deceased King of Pop has moonwalked his way into the top five of it’s new annual Top-Earning Dead Celebrities list, Papa Jackson went all vocal to declare that his son is worth more dead than alive.

However, it seems the senior Jackson has learned some good lessons from the media in the recent past, because he acted quick enough to add that he’d rather have him alive.

Contactmusic reports,

MICHAEL JACKSON is worth more dead than alive, according to his dad JOE.
The pop superstar, who died in June (09), has rocketed into the top five of Forbes magazine’s new annual Top-Earning Dead Celebrities list and even his father is amazed with the money his son is making from beyond the grave.
He tells U.S. news show Extra, “He’s worth more dead than when he was alive, but I’d rather have him alive.”

That’s like a loving papa! Just jokin’, Mr. Joe. I’m well aware of the ugly side of the media. And I’m glad that you are learning it fast, too. BTW, for me, the news of Jacko’s stunning five nominations at the AMAs is far more precious than the news of his inclusion in the Forbes list.
