Teen heartthrob Zac Efron is eager to shed his sweet boy image… by donning the Spider-Man costume in the next ‘Spider-Man’ movie! Of course, his desire is still in the dream stage because he is yet to hear a word from casting directors.
quotes him as saying to Australian radio station 2Day FM about the dream role,
I don’t know. To be honest that would be a dream come true. But I haven’t heard anything like that. Of course, any actor would love to fill those shoes. They’re big shoes to fill.
Well, I personally think Zac has got all the qualities needed to portray the web-slinging superhero. Apart from his sweet face, Zac has got that rare blend of elastic muscles. I don’t mean to offend any of those macho actors with rugged-than-rock physiques, but I would prefer Zac anytime over Hugh Jackman in the Spider-Man costume.
