The story of Beyonce’s pregnancy, which erupted earlier this week courtesy of gossip website MediaTakeOut.com, has finally come to a disappointing end. A rep for her music label, Sony Music, has dismissed the reports in straight words. So guys, Beyonce is still not pregnant.

Gossip website MediaTakeOut.com first broke the rumour on Thursday, sparking a flurry of reports online. The news was fuelled by the Irreplaceable hitmaker’s publicist, Alan Nierob, who issued a firm “no comment” on the story, adding, “We don’t respond to private-matter enquiries.” A spokesperson for her husband Jay-Z also refused to answer press queries but now a Sony Music representative has reached out to RollingStone.com to insist the reports are “untrue”.
This shows that keeping your mouth shut is not the best option when you are hit by a rumor missile. Instead of ducking, you are advised to hit back without wasting any time. Anyway, I feel sad for Beyonce fans. Maybe next season.
